Episode 53: If we didn’t have to work, would we still choose to? Alex Didymiotis, Group HR Director, TFG London Brands
Describing her belief that business success or failure is underpinned by culture, Alex shares a wonderful litmus test we can use when considering company culture: colleagues’ desire to come to work, even if they didn’t get paid.
Alex reflects on the Great Re-evaluation arising from the pandemic, preferring this phrase to the Great Resignation, and noting resignations are happening where a company or a role lacks purpose.
Recommending that we take a holistic approach and raise awareness of issues such as gender equality and mental health, Alex also discusses TFG London’s strategy on flexible working and shares fantastic examples of how HR Leaders create social mobility.
