Israil is responsible for leading and accelerating DE&I progress across 65 countries. Prior to her role at Boeing, Israil was the Regional Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Standard Chartered Bank, responsible for Europe, the Americas and Africa and the Middle East, in addition to leading the Global D&I function.
Israil has over 10 years industry recognised expertise from a strategic and operational perspective in D&I. In her 4 years at Standard Chartered Israil led pioneering research into ‘Menopause in the workplace: Impact on women in Financial Services’, in partnership with the Financial Services Skills Commission involving over 2,400 employees across 105 financial services organisations in the UK. The recommendations from the research have since been adopted bythe HM Treasury Women in Finance Charter as leading practice for the financial services sector.
